You do not need to have Spanish to attend, as participants will primarily use published English translations and will work together to create new English translations. Which of these translations are best and why? What is lost, what is found, and what is created? Rhythm, concepts, images, symbols, sound, grammar and vocabulary will all come under our gaze. Our object will be to create new poems that are also translations of the great originals in Spanish. SOAS, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, WC1H 0XG.
